RockGARD Sizing & Boat Guide
Determine Center Post Height
- Measure the vertical distance from the top of your trailer frame (where the guard will mount) to the top of the boat’s bow (the gunwale or rub rail).
- Goal: You want the guard to sit slightly higher than the bow to deflect debris over the vessel.
Determine Length (Standard vs. XL)
- Measure from the proposed mounting point on the tongue back to the trailer fender.
- Clearance Check: Ensure that the side posts of the RockGARD will not interfere with the fenders. The distance from the center post to the trailer fender must be greater than the length of the guard wing.
